The OUTDOOR INN Sportsman's Bunkhouse is the perfect rustic retreat for any outdoor enthusiast. Big Lake and Inland Fisherman, Hunters, Ice Fishermen, Snowmobilers, Kayakers, Sightseers, Skiers, Snowshoers, Dogsledders, Vacationers, Birders, and Pleasure Boaters will appreciate the comforts of home and being in our areas central location of Washburn, Wisconsin. Plus, The OUTDOOR INN is located right on a Bayfield County snowmobile trail and is only 1-1/2 miles from Washburn’s West End Park boat landing, beach and park. Bayfield is only 12 miles to the north, and Ashland only 6 miles to the south. A short 5 minute drive up the hill to the west puts you smack in the middle of the Chequamegon National forest. The Outdoor Inn fills the gap for a much needed bunkhouse style lodging, giving the renter more than a simple motel room, but is not as formal as a bed and breakfast.

The Inn is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, fully furnished house available for short term rentals. It includes a rustic hunting and fishing decor with a fully equipped kitchen (pots/pans, dishes, silverware, deep fryer, popcorn popper, etc.), dining room, living room with cable and VCR, and deck with charcoal BBQ.  The house has eight individual beds and will sleep up to 12 people. There is one bunk bed in the smaller upstairs bedroom, two bunk beds in the larger upstairs bedroom as well as one more bunk bed on the first floor off the living room. All Bunk Beds have a full size bottom bunk and a twin top bunk.  Outside is a convenient fish cleaning station to clean your catch. The back yard includes a fire pit with rustic log seating, and a Deer Pole for hanging your trophies during your stay, There is external electricity to plug in your boat, and even a 20 yard archery target to keep your eye and reflexes sharp before you go bowhunting.

CHECK IN: Occurs at Outdoor Allure Sport Shop, right next to the Outdoor Inn during regular business hours.  Check in is at 3pm, and check out is at 10am. Special arrangements can be made for late check in.

DIRECTIONS TO HOUSE: Take Hwy 13 North from US 2, just west of Ashland. The INN is approx. 5.5 mi north on the left, right next to OUTDOOR ALLURE SPORT SHOP, right on Hwy 13.
